Inside the ‘Box: Meet Lauren

It’s funny how we can outgrow things as we get older.

“In high school, my friends called me Dory because I tended to forget things easily,” Lauren says. “Now, though, I am definitely very determined. I want to show my children what hard work is, and that whatever you set your goals to be, you can achieve them.”

Lauren certainly seems to be accomplishing her goals. She joined SmartBox as a Call Quality Analyst in October 2015, and has wasted no time in making a profound contribution.

“I summarize dental practice phone calls to help the representatives better communicate with our important clients,” she says. “And I listen and try to pick out important information from phone calls to also better benefit our dentists. For example, I pick out new patient calls that are very well handled.”

Lauren seems to be a very good fit for the SmartBox. “I LOVE how personable everyone seems to be,” she says. “The office has a great atmosphere, and I really enjoy the people I work side by side with each day. I work hard, and believe myself to have a GREAT work ethic. I am punctual, and I keep a smile on my face and a positive attitude. I am thankful for the benefits and learning experience that come with this job.”

She reflects for a moment, and then adds, “I am also excited that I’m increasing the words per minute I can type.”

Okay, then.

Lauren has worked in professional photography and continues to keep her hand in. When not indulging her passion for shutter-clicking, she is raising her “three beautiful daughters – Adelyn is 8, Avery is 5, and Arlee is 6 months old. And, I’m engaged to be married to my best friend September 2017. My fiancé and I are huge music lovers; The Beatles are definitely our favorite, though.”

And then there’s the karaoke (“I really get into it.”), The Office (she has a new-found love for this show), Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and being with her family. “I am also a huge Pacman nerd as well.”

If you think that Lauren would be fun to be around, you’re right. “I am a very positive person, or at least try my hardest to be,” she says. “I try my hardest to keep a smile on my face, no matter what. I personally believe that a smile and a simple hello can save someone’s life, because you never know what someone else is going through. I try not to be too serious, and I try not to sweat the small stuff in life. I firmly believe that no matter good or bad, EVERYTHING in life happens for a reason. I approach everything with a positive attitude, and try to make the best out of every single situation in life.”
