Our site went live pretty much right at mid-December, towards the end of December and already we’ve seen a growth in our new patients from last year for the month. Last year, we were at about 33 new patients. Last month, we were at 37 already in the first month. Definitely seen a difference in quality. Some of the campaigns I had been doing in the past were more offer-driven, free exam, x-ray kind of thing. When you bring patients in that way, you’re kind of chasing them for the next offer or they’re chasing you for the next offer, all the way down the line.

I’ve definitely seen a great increase in quality. I think last month we had 52 calls overall just from the website. With the patient retraction system that we’ve set up through the website, what I’ve noticed is a lot of the new patients we’ve seen who come from the website already are very knowledgeable about what they’re looking for. Just the other day, I had a patient come in specifically wanted to talk about implants and he had heard us talk about implants and so he was really in tune with what he needed and was ready to move forward.

That’s been nice to have them come in already pre-educated as to what we do here and already have some ideas for treatment. In fact, one gentleman the other day was actually prepared to pay more than what we charge. Since we’ve implemented our Smartbox website and patient retraction system, we’re definitely getting the quality patients that I want to see come through the practice.
