A teacher and developer of talent, Ed Post is at the helm of team management and focused on providing SmartBox dentists marketing campaigns that draw patients they want to treat.

Ed works with team leaders to improve processes, increase productivity, and facilitate employee growth. Originally from California, Ed holds degrees in communications and advertising and has spent his professional career working in newspapers, advertising, and marketing.

“My goal is to improve processes for our dentists and seek additional education and resources to help our team members stay on the cutting-edge,” Ed said. “I want our dentists to see a quality they cannot find anywhere else while having an enjoyable and profitable experience.”

Before joining SmartBox, Ed Post worked in management for several newspapers around the country, including USA TODAY and the Courier-Journal, the latter of which is highest circulation newspaper in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. While working at Metro United Way, he was a key member of the “Change Leadership Team” that reinvented the culture at the nonprofit organization. He also helped launch the Metro United Way’s volunteer matching website and brought the idea of “School of Philanthropy” to a pilot program at a Jefferson County Public Schools elementary school.

Ed Post has a proven record of success in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing high-quality talent, building relationships with clients, and developing long-term strategic plans.

“I see myself as a strategic thinker, idea generator, and even most importantly, a teacher,” Ed said. “I work tirelessly to improve complex work processes and to send dentists more and better patients.”

You can often find Ed behind a drum kit – a passion he’s had for more than 30 years. He loves all forms of motor racing and is addicted to historical documentaries.
