SmartBox CEO Joins Panel of Local Business Leaders

LOUISVILLE, KY — SmartBox CEO Colin Receveur joined the area’s most influential business leaders Wednesday to discuss successful strategies and challenges ahead.

SmartBox, an industry-leading patient attraction company that works exclusively with dentists, was recently listed as one of the 50 fastest-growing private companies in the Louisville area by the publication Louisville Business First. SmartBox grew by more than 230 percent in revenue from 2014-2016.

Wednesday’s panel, part of Louisville Business First’s Grow Louisville event, included other Fast 50 winners:

The Grow Louisville panel discussed business growth strategies, management tactics, business challenges, how to attract leading talent, and how to compete with peer cities.

“It was an honor to network with Louisville’s brightest business leaders and provide insight on how to continue making the Louisville area a great place to live, work, and play,” Receveur said. “Each panelist came from a different background and company, which created a healthy diversity of ideas.”

Receveur founded SmartBox in 2001 and has helped more than 550 dentists thrive with more and better patients. However, SmartBox began by working with Louisville and southern Indiana professionals and now employs more than 75 people, most of whom live in the Louisville area.

“It was because of local support and the local economy that we have been able to grow our company into what it is today, from the clients to the professional business relationships,” Receveur said.
